Description
Gangsters 2: Vendetta is a 2001 strategy and simulation game developed by Hothouse Creations and published by Eidos Interactive. It is the sequel to Gangsters: Organized Crime, and takes place in the final years of Prohibition in the United States. Players take on the role of Frankie “The Fixer” Vargas, a young gangster seeking revenge for the murder of his father.
The game is set in a fictional city called Chicago, and features a mix of turn-based and real-time gameplay. Players must build and manage their own gang, recruit and train gangsters, and engage in various illegal activities such as bootlegging, gambling, and extortion. They must also be careful to avoid the police and rival gangs.
Gangsters 2: Vendetta was praised for its deep and engaging gameplay, its atmospheric setting, and its sense of humor. However, it was also criticized for its technical issues and its steep learning curve.
