Description

Aurora Watching, also known as Gorky 2 in some regions, is a third-person action and stealth game developed by Metropolis Software and published by DreamCatcher Interactive in 2006. It is the sequel to the 1997 game Gorky and is set in the same post-apocalyptic world, where a mysterious phenomenon known as the Aurora has turned most of the population into mutants.

In Aurora Watching, the player takes control of a squad of soldiers who are tasked with investigating a series of strange occurrences near the Aurora. The game features a mix of stealth and action gameplay, as players must use their environment and gadgets to avoid detection by mutants and complete their objectives.

The game was met with mixed reviews upon release, with some critics praising its atmosphere and stealth mechanics, while others criticized its linear level design and technical issues. Despite its flaws, Aurora Watching is a unique and often overlooked game that is worth checking out for fans of the stealth genre.
